Overcome
Danger lurks everywhere. Are you going to let the fear of the unknown, of the "what if." stop you from experiencing life? There will always be the possibility of something going askew, but what if nothing negative happens? Weighing the risk/reward in any decision is a good bet. When facing a challenge, the easiest question to ask yourself is "What is the worst that can happen?" If you are willing to take the chance against those odds, go for it. Overcome your hesitation. Overcome your fear. Jump in and enjoy life!

"I overcome my fears."
Yoga Pose: Upward Facing Dog Urdhva Mukha Svanasana
Overcome your reluctance and open your heart fully to challenge yourself with this strength building pose.
Foundation. Start in prone position. Set your intention.
Arms. Place your hands under your shoulders and slightly forward, spreading your fingers wide apart. Press your hands firmly into the earth to activate your arms.
Legs. Extend you legs straight out behind you. Tuck your toes under.
Move. Inhale and press your torso upwards, creating a back bending curve. Continue to lift up until your arms are relatively straight and your pelvis lifts off the ground. Lift your chest to open your heart center.
Gaze. Tilt your head back to gaze upward or straight forward. Expand your body in all directions, energizing the pose. Hold for several breaths. To come out of the pose, slowly bend your elbows and return to the earth.
