Prepare
To PREPARE is to get ready for whatever comes your way. It is easier and more tangible to think about physical preparations such as food, shelter and safety measures. Yet are you prepared emotionally, mentally and spiritually for the challenges you face? When a windstorm rages, the insurrection surges or your good health is compromised, it is your internal resources and strength that will see you through the chaos to emerge whole. Carve out time every day to maintain your health, connect with loved ones and kneel in prayer.

Yoga Pose: Warrior I Virabhadrasana I
Strengthen your body, steady your mind and lift your spirit with this determined Warrior Pose to prepare yourself for whatever challenges you face..
Foundation. Start in Tadasana (Mountain Pose). Set your intention.
Stance. Lift your right foot to take a giant step backward into a lunge. Bend your left knee to a 90 degree angle, with your foot in line with the outer hip. Your right leg extends out behind as straight as possible.
Torso & Arms. Inhale and lift your torso upright. Sweep your arms out to the sides and up overhead. Interlace your fingers and extend both index fingers up. Release your shoulders away from your ears. Draw your tailbone down toward the ground and lift your pubic bone toward your navel. Lift your chest from the strength of your shoulder blades against the back torso, creating a modified bend back.
Gaze. Look forward, setting your gaze on a point out away from you. Reach your fingertips to the sky. Expand your body in all directions. Hold for several breaths. Release your arms down and step forward with your right leg, coming back to Tadasana.
